Waste
The Lakeport Public Services office will be closed Friday, July 3, and the Eastlake Landfill in Clearlake and Lake County Waste Solutions, 230 Soda Bay Road in Lakeport, will be closed Saturday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day. Residential pickup will be on their regular scheduled day. The Eastlake Landfill will re-open Sunday, July 5. Lake County Waste Solutions and the Public Services office will re-open Monday, July 6.
Normal operating hours at the landfill are 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. Normal operating hours at Lake County Waste Solutions Transfer Station on Soda Bay Road in Lakeport are Monday through Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Public Services office is normally open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Geysers
The Calpine Geothermal Visitors Center, located at 15500 Central Park Road in Middletown, will be closed July 3 and 4 to allow their team to celebrate the holiday with their families.
They will resume regular business operations on Wed, 7/8. The Visitors Center is open to the public Wed – Sat. from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Libraries
All branches of the Lake County Library system will be closed July 4 to observe Independence Day. Normal hours at all branches will resume on July 7. Call your local branch if you have any questions.
Normal hours for Lakeport Library, located at 1425 N. High St., are Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The phone number is 263-8817.
