Our supervisors are always fair
Someone was complaining in a letter to editor when the county made the deal to get electric power for Lake County it was said that the county did not give the proper figures and they were keeping a lot of the revenue. That was public information and that automatically told me they were not trying to hide anything. All they were doing was putting monies in different places to run the business of the county.
I believe that our supervisors are fair and honest and do not try to hide anything. They cannot take any money home with them. They might be just moving the money around to make things work like we do in our own households. It is still tax payer’s money and they are working for us and we elected them to do the job that is necessary for us at all times and all they were doing was protecting our assets. I know all the supervisors and I know them all to be fair, hardworking, honest individuals. And I feel they were treated unfairly.
I think we should always look at things with an open mind and specifically Supervisor Farrington was hammered in the letter and I know Supervisor Farrington personally to be a fair, up front individual regarding any circumstances. These supervisors have done a lot for our county in the past several years. I don’t think we should treat them unfairly.

I can’t believe that Mac McKay was excoriating the Republicans in the Bee (7/7). For it was the Republicans who passed the ‘Trade-Promotion’ bill giving the President the authority to craft a Trade Bill, concerning trade with the Pacific Rim nations, that can only be voted for or against by congress and not allow additional amendments to the bill. Most Democrats voted against this bill because it did not contain provisions for the lost jobs that may occur in the US. So, it is not true that this trade pact will be passed without the legislators.
For those who do not know the U6 Chart; it is a combination of the U3 + U4 +U5 which include “discouraged workers” who believe no work is available for them; workers who are able to work, but have not looked for work recently; part time workers who want to go full time.
And, Mac, could you tell me which other three ‘90 percent die offs’ occurred? I only know of the Permian event at 252 Million years ago. There was a 70 percent during the Cretaceous Tertiary boundary. But I know of no others.
One last thing, if 32,000 climate scientists disagree with global warming then there must be over 640,000 climate scientists as over 95 percent do agree.

The illegal alien problem
The Chickens have come home to roost. The killing of Kate Stienle, the outrageous act of violence in SF, is the last straw for me, as it should be for you! And this is not the only time an illegal alien with a criminal record has killed innocent people. Three people killed by an illegal alien with two felonies in SF, two Sheriff’s Deputies killed by an illegal alien outside Sacramento, and now this. And if you don’t like the term illegal alien as far as I am concerned you can stuff it along with your liberal political correctness! Our DOJ will not enforce the 1998 Law that bars people from supporting illegal aliens. They turn their backs on their own laws. Wait until an illegal alien kills one of your relatives. Are you going to say, “oh well, stuff happens?”
But that’s what you are saying when you elect politicians that turn their backs on the law. Sanctuary Cities are politicians turning their backs on the laws of the United States and they do it with impunity with your vote! And you cannot sue politicians for their mistakes, i.e. lack of judgement. The SF politician’s excuse for this was nothing more than looking at a drunk puking on the steps of City Hall. And don’t get me wrong, but how many people in Chicago, Philly, Baltimore, etc., were killed because of the Confederate Flag? But listen to the families of the hundreds of people killed by illegal aliens, it is heartbreaking, due to the left’s view of illegal aliens. Three and a half percent of illegal aliens are responsible for 36.7 percent of Federal convictions of crime! Wake up people, this is a real problem! The Dems will sell their souls to get the Latino vote. Shame on you! Protecting criminals is unconscionable.
This illegal alien has 7 felony convictions, 5 deportations, yet the City of SF welcomes him?
You the voters are to blame as much as city officials for this travesty. Seventy-one percent of foreign nationals incarcerated in U.S. prisons are Mexican illegal aliens. Sexual assaults, kidnaping, and all of the drugs on the backs of illegal aliens, when are you people going to wake up? The laws are in place. We don’t need new laws. We need to have politicians and law enforcement obey the laws, not give excuses. You cannot pick and choose the laws you are going to enforce or else you might as well throw the Constitution out.
The DOJ is run by Dems that selectively chooses which laws they will enforce. Reminds me of the South run by Dems during segregation, sick the dogs on the common law abiding citizens and back the corrupt politicians! This is not the America our forefathers fought and died for. The progressive left have ruined this country, welcome Bernie Sanders and Mayor DeBlassio to run our Country. This is the left’s way to (run) ruin our Country. Open our Country to illegal aliens to commit crimes and then lie about it. Sanctuary Cities, you bet, turn this Country into total anarchy, that’s where the progressive left is leading us. Oh those poor criminal illegal aliens, oh poor me. Give me a break!
