CLEARLAKE OAKS >> Visitors to Cache Creek Vineyards on Saturday night enjoyed music by the band Cherry Road Gang. Band members made an entrance on vineyard owner Don and Margie VanPelts’ fire truck with lights and sirens blaring. The band performed a high energy, four-hour concert that kept the crowd of 200 cheering.
The winery invited the Clear Lake High School cheerleaders to conduct a “50/50 Raffle” fundraiser during the concert. The cheerleaders performed an impromptu cheer for the crowd during one of the band’s breaks. They expressed their gratitude to the winery owners and to the winners of the raffle, Mike and Dolores Jossel of Hidden Valley Lake, who donated their cash winnings back to the cheer squad.
