Clearlake Oaks >> The Clearlake Oaks Community United Methodist Church has been awarded funding by the Clearlake Oaks-Glenhaven Business Association (CLOGBA) to update the old church sound system. The current system, more than a decade old, had been in need of replacement. BANDBOX Music, who has been serving Lake and Mendocino Counties since 1955, is consulting and providing the church with the sound design and system.
CLOGBA has been a community partner in helping many local organizations, students and residence in securing needed equipment and services. CLOGBA is also responsible for the beautiful fireworks display each year as result of its work holding the Catfish Derby.
CLOGBA President John Pavoni presented the funding in person to Pastor Dawn Roberts of Clearlake Oaks UMC who was delightedly surprised.
“We are extremely grateful to the Association,” she said. “We’ll soon be singing ‘clear’ praises to the Lord and to the Clearlake Oaks-Glenhaven Business Association for their recognition of our presence in the community.”
