LAKEPORT >> The Clear Lake High School girls’ soccer program is hosting a camp beginning Monday and running through Aug. 6 for boys and girls ages 5-14 and of all ability levels. Four-year-olds will be accepted with parental consent.
Camp hours are 9 a.m. to noon each of the four days on the fields behind the Clear Lake High School gym in Lakeport. The registration fee is $60 and includes a camp T-shirt. A family discount of $5 is available if two more more campers from the same family register. An additional early bird discount is available if you sign up before the first day of camp.
Instruction is provided by Clear Lake High School varsity coaches Alice Holmes and Paul Larrea and junior varsity coach Tommy Burke. They will be assisted by guest coaches and members of the Clear Lake High varsity girls’ soccer team. The camp emphasizes basic soccer skills, offensive and defensive play and team concepts.
There will be various contests, individual awards, snacks and game play each day.
