Lakeport >> The Lake County Chamber of Commerce is offering a seminar, entitled, “Motivating Others for Excellent Customer Service,” on Wednesday, Aug. 12 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Mendocino College Lake Center in Room 7160. Cost per person is $35.

This seminar will be taught by Steve Hixenbaugh, who is currently the Interim Dean of the Lake Center and Interim Dean of Career and Technical Education at Mendocino College. He has extensive experience in private industry in executive positions and as a corporate trainer. Steve earned his BA from UC Berkeley and an MS in Business Administration from San Francisco State University.

During the two-hour session you will learn strategies for inspiring your staff to provide excellent customer service; develop customer service techniques that consistently exceed customer expectations; provide your staff with tools for navigating challenging customer service situations.
