Kelseyville >> Madi and Robert Mount, with children and grandchildren by their side, celebrated the opening of their Boatique Winery on Saturday, July 18. In addition to community and civic leaders, it is estimated over 600 guests joined in the afternoon festivities at their Red Hills Road, Kelseyville winery.
The new winery currently features Malbec, Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon wines, all grown on the Mount’s 47 acre Red Hills and adjacent Big Valley Big District AVA vineyards, located in the Lake County region.
Boatique also features the Mount’s extensive collection of museum quality antique and classic power boats. This weekend’s opening re-introduced the 1998 Van Dam Built 33’ Alpha Z: an all wood contemporary build design incorporating a 800hp engine and surface drive propeller system which can project Alpha Z to speeds of 100mph.
