CLEARLAKE >> Southshore Little League will open sign-ups for Fall Ball baseball on Saturday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at Austin Park in Clearlake. The sign-ups close Aug. 21.
All those born between May 1, 2000 and Dec. 31, 2008 are welcome to join. The registration fee is $25 and includes a T-shirt and hat. If you were not registered with Southshore Little League this past season, please bring a certified copy of your birth certificate and proof of residence to the sign-ups. If you played in the league, you need only fill out a new medical release form.
Teams will be set in September and practice is expected to start around Sept. 7. The season runs through Nov. 21.
