Garage Sale >> Space is available at the “Monster” Yard Sale being held by the Bachelor Valley Grange in Upper Lake on Saturday, Aug. 8 from 8 a.m. until approximately 2 p.m.

Perseids over Nice
Meteor party >> The Aurora RV Park & Marina in Nice will host a Perseid Meteor Shower party, beginning at noon on August 11.
Calling it their “First Annual Perseid Meteor Shower Spectacular,” the event is scheduled to run a full 24 hours. For information, call 274-5531. Aurora RV Park & Marina is located at 2985 Lakeshore Blvd.
