LAKEPORT >> The fifth annual Cardinal Sports Night is set for Sept. 12 beginning at 5 p.m. in Phil Lewis Hall at the Lake County Fairgrounds in Lakeport.
All proceeds benefit Clear Lake High School athletics. There will be games, music and a barbecue dinner provided by the Lakeport Fire Department. Both silent and live auctions will be held along with a basket raffle.
Presale tickets are $25 and can be purchased at Clear Lake High School, Strong Financial, Linda’s Hallmark and Plaza Paints in Lakeport. A table of eight can be reserved for $500, which includes prime seating up front and some complimentary drinks. Student tickets are $15 and children younger than 5 get in free.
The Coaches Competition also returns this year. The golf team will be out to defend its championship.
The Sports Foundation has provided nearly $80,000 of support to CLHS sports.
