Museum needs volunteers for board
Middletown >> Gibson Museum is still seeking volunteers to stand for election to the governing board. The election will be held at their next regular meeting, Sept. 1. Nominations are open through Aug. 24. Please send contact information for your nominee and the reasons you believe that person to be qualified, by email, to gibsonmuseum@gmail.com. Ballots will be prepared by Sept. 1. No nominees have come forth as yet for treasurer.
College governing bodies to meet
Clearlake >> The next regular meetings of the Yuba Community College District Policy Committee and Board will be held on Aug. 13 at Woodland Community College in Building 800. The policy committee meeting is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m., with the board meeting to follow. Persons wishing to address either committee should complete a request card and submit it to the Board’s Assistant at the beginning of the meeting.
