Upper Lake >> The Upper Lake Community Food Project will take place Tuesday at 4 p.m. on the porch of the Odd Fellow’s Hall on Main Street in downtown.
Sign in and wait for name to be called. One food bag per household, participants must be present and bags will be provided until supply runs out.
Additional nonperishable canned foods, grooming and household products will also be available. Donations of garden vegetables and fruit are welcomed.
Clothing for men, women and children will be available to look through and take. Donation of men’s clothing only at this time. Bring paper or cloth bags if possible. The food project provides hand-out material and applications for the CalFresh debit program for seniors. Staff are able to help people fill out the CalFresh application at the Upper Lake Senior Support Services office on the corner of First Street and Mendenhall Avenue streets in Upper Lake on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10 to 2 p.m.
