Let it be known
Years ago, the entire hill behind Jago Bay and Baylis Cove burned. My husband and at least one of my friends remember it. Every Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day, they watch fearfully, as out-of-towners set off fireworks they bring in from other counties, where they are illegal. Perhaps they do not realize that these fireworks, some of which are professional grade, are illegal in Lake County, or should be.
With big fires burning in the county, I urge the supervisors to find the funds to post signs at the county line, on all roads entering the county, proclaiming “FIREWORKS ILLEGAL IN LAKE COUNTY.”

A better driver?
Recently in the “letter to the Editor” comparing the Republican ticket as a clown car, really?
These people are some of the finest candidates produced in decades, so who have you got running on your side? Bernie Sanders, who is an devout socialist, who would run this country like Stalin did Russia, Martin O’Mally, who is a complete joke and Hillary Clinton, who should be brought up on charges so numerous it’s pathetic. And we find out now that the FBI is conducting an investigation, and do I think anything will come of it? NO! The Clinton’s money will save the day. And finally ask yourself how many more innocent people have to die due to liberal sanctuary cities? Give me a break, she lives in a house where her husband cheats on her with a blonde bimbo, who the Secret Service named the energizer. Morality counts. People in glass houses should not throw stones and I have absolutely had it with you Dems.
Hillary (“what difference does it make”) Clinton who, along with Susan Rice, said a video was responsible for the Benghazi attack which in three days everybody knew was a lie! The same Hillary Clinton who stood at Andrews AFB when the bodies of four Americans and Ambassador Stevens were flown in from Benghazi and said we will get to the bottom of this, and yet the families have yet to hear from her or this administration.
I haven’t been this mad about things since Nancy (the biggest joke perpetrated on the American People) Pelosi got up and said “you have to pass Obama Care to find out what’s in it,” a bill nobody read and passed at 3 a.m., the biggest lie ever perpetrated on the American public. And to lump Dr. Ben Carson into your clown car is reprehensible. One of the finest candidates since JFK! JFK and Ronald Reagan were the finest presidents anybody has ever voted for. You sir, should be ashamed of your party as I was with Richard Nixon. And to put Dr. Ben Carson in your clown car is lumping yourself into the Republican Party you know those racist, bigoted, homophobe. Just like Conservatives who criticize President Obama. And to go out on a limb, if Dr. Carson had to do brain surgery on you, he would probably call your case as terminally ill. Dr. Carson said (the other night during the debates) that he has removed half of a brain, but someone beat him to it with DC politicians.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Dem’s have run cities like Chicago, Detroit, Boston, Cleveland, etc., for decades, and these cities are the cesspools of the country in crime. You want to protect illegal aliens but not unborn babies in the womb. President Obama has done more to divide this country and watch him carefully, he will rip this country apart in his last 18 months!
That is his promise “to fundamentally change America” in his beliefs which is getting to look more like anarchy. There is something fundamentally wrong here.

Bring them to trial
The past few months we have seen the curtain of decades slowly raise on a good number of issues that have been hidden from the general public for decades. Bigotry, corruption, white collar and corporate crime, dishonorable actions within some of our national sports entertainment programs, and the one that most citizens have bought into, political graft. Most all of these are driven by GREED.
With most of the nation’s citizens thinking and voicing their belief that most or all politicians are less then honest in serving the welfare and rights of the working or middle class, the raising of the curtain that has hidden so many wrong doings is truly refreshing. But, it also points out that those elected officials, who degrade their personal honor and harm our citizens with their actions, are nothing more then mere employees of the rich and powerful few, who pay them to do those activities that gain the bosses far greater wealth.
They pay the corrupt officials vast sums, even millions, to do their bidding, which even when caught, allow those officials and families to live a fairly reasonable life. It is time to make sure and demand that our federal and state governments bosses to trial with convictions. They deserve harsh mandatory sentencing, along with asset fines and retrieval that match the funds they have cost the taxpayers and private individuals. Those funds can be used to replace wiped out retirement and savings loses.
As we as a nation are now demanding better training and interaction with our law enforcement personal, the same can be demanded from the prosecution departments at all levels of our government, who are being paid to protect our citizens at the highest level possible. Greater funds need to be budgeted to hire more taxpayer paid employees of those departments and at higher wages to attract the best to do battle with the high paid defense teams that are available to the rich and powerful.
We have had enough of those slap on the wrist penalties that favor the upper class. Taxpayers dollars would have more of a positive effect if the above was done, then using a little less funding for the wars in far away countries. The power of the taxpayers is huge when used in a correct fashion.
