The Lower Lake Trojans are breaking in a new quarterback, sophomore Hokulani Wickard, and plenty of new linemen as they build momentum toward what head coach Justin Gaddy hopes will be another step up the North Central League I ladder during the 2015 football season. The Trojans certainly made inroads in 2014 when Gaddy took Lower Lake to the North Coast Section playoffs in only his second year as coach. During a Wednesday afternoon practice at Lower Lake, assistant coach Damien Wickard (above, right) addresses the offense in the huddle during a scrimmage session.
