Evan’s German Auto owner Evan Gradek works on his new shop location on High Street in Lakeport Friday afternoon. He opened his business in late 2010 on South Main Street by himself as a small thing and ‘kind of just an experiment,’ but he said it’s now outgrown the old location. The new shop spot, Gradek said, suits his business’s needs with garage space and cement floors. Construction will take about another month or so before they open back up for business, adding that the inside still had the original paint from 1958.
