Quantity and quality are the buzzwords at Middletown High School if the topic is linemen entering the 2015 season. “A lot of teams would like to have our second unit,” Middletown head coach Bill Foltmer said during the Mustangs’ afternoon practice on Friday. The beneficiary of a solid offensive line will be veteran quarterback Connor Armstrong. While Middletown is pretty well set at its skill positions, there is little depth, according to Foltmer, who is embarking on his 31st season at the school. His next win will be his 230th at Middletown. The Mustangs host a scrimmage on Aug. 28 before opening the season Sept. 5 against Salesian at Richmond.
