UPPER LAKE >> The Upper Lake High School cross country team is hosting the Cougar Classic Invitational and Community Fun Run on Aug. 29 at Upper Lake High School. The first race begins at 8 a.m.
The Cougar Classic, a 2-mile run, features high school divisions for varsity and junior boys as well as varsity girls. The entry fee is $10 per runner.
The Community Fun Run has three divisions — children younger than 5 ($5 entry), ages 6-12 ($10), and ages 13 and older ($20).
There will be awards for the top 10 individual finishers and for the top three teams.
