CLEARLAKE >> Clear Lake Friday Night Farmers’ Market is proud to present musician Andy Rossoff. He will entertain this Friday night, August 21, from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m.

The Farmers’ Market also has fresh produce from the Vue Family Farm, vine ripe tomatoes, fresh corn on the cob, melons, sweet strawberries, and eggplant. From Dollar Mountain Apiaries, unique honey that is one of a kind. This specialty honey from plants in Lake County shows what happens when bees area allowed to seek out their native plants. David Fallstead has 100 hives around Lake County. Check out the wild buckwheat line. He also has honey sticks which is a big hit with younger age groups.

Patrons can’t say enough about People Pleazin’ Preserves. They offer apple butters, various preserves and a special blend of cornbread and pancake mixes.

Food vendors help make the market a success. Cactus Grill serves tacos, rice and beans along with a beverage. Amy and Roberto are well known in Clearlake for their Tex-Mex dishes. Pastor Lynda Robinson, of Powerhouse Church does an awesome job of fried fish, along with specialty deserts. Combine this with good music, the backdrop of the lake and you have an enjoyable evening once a week.
