Clearlake >> The second Lake and Mendocino County Veterans Stand Down/Resource Fair is slated for Sept. 9 and 10 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at American Legion Post 437.
The stand down events are outreach programs for homeless, at-risk veterans in need. They help veterans, active duty personnel and their families obtain necessary good and services that they have earned.
Those seeking aid should bring their Veterans Affairs ID card or DD214 or Proof of Service. Lunch for all attendees will be provided.
