
Regular-season winner Tina’s Barber Shop defeated Main Street Cafe two games to one in a best-of-three series to determine the Lake County Adult Softball Assocation B-2 men’s softball champion last week at Lakeside County Park. Led by former Athlete of the Year Tony Bussard of Clear Lake High School, Tina’s won 21-10 on Wednesday to wrap up the crown. Bussard smacked two home runs in the victory. Overall he went 7-for-9 in the three-game playoff series with four home runs. Tina’s also won the first game 9-8 after scoring twice in the seventh inning. Brian Hanson, a former Athlete of the Year from Kelseyville High School, homered twice and drove in five runs for Main Street in the loss. Main Street Cafe rallied to tie the series at a game apiece with a 9-6 win in game two.
