Cobb >> The Friends of Boggs Mountain Trailwork Day will take place Sunday, Sept. 6 to get the Boggs trails behind Cobb Mountain Elementary School ready for their Harvest Festival.
Volunteers are to meet at the parking lot of the elementary school, which lies about a half mile north of Hardesters -Cobb on Highway 175. Going north, a large sign for Cobb Mountain Elementary School will be on the left.
The trail work is expected to take two to three hours. Participants should bring water, work gloves and hand tools, such as loppers and clippers. Some tools will also be available on-site.
