Hidden Valley Lake >> At the Monday meeting of the Hidden Valley Lake Garden Club, there will be a short business meeting and then car pooling to visit Villa Barone in the Jerusalem Valley in Lake County.

The Villa Barone Ranch is a sustainable farm and organic olive orchard with more than 800 olive trees specifically chosen to produce world-class olive oil. At the ranch, a tour will be given to the garden club, and members will learn where food starts.

In addition there will be olive oil tasting, and olive oil, soaps and other gifts will be available for purchase.

Meetings of the Hidden Valley Lake Garden Club are free and open to the public on the second Monday of each month. They are held in the activities room of the administration building of the Hidden Valley Lake Association, 18174 Hidden Valley Road.

A social gathering with refreshments begins at 9:30 a.m., followed by a business meeting and program at 10 a.m.
