Lake County >> It is not too early to put Oct. 3 on your calendar for the annual Lake County Land Trust dinner. The dinner this year will be held at Marymount University Lakeside campus in Lucerne, starting with a 4 p.m. social hour and informal tours of the fascinating Marymount building, also known as “The Castle.”
Tickets are $75 per person and include Lake County wine. The event also features live music and silent auction. This year’s guest speaker will be local archaeologist Dr. John Parker.
This is an important yearly fundraiser for the Land Trust. Dinner reservations and payment can be made by calling 262-0707.
