Upper Lake >> The Upper Lake Community Food Project will take place Tuesday, Sept. 15 at 4 p.m. on the porch of the Odd Fellows Hall, on Main Street in down town Upper Lake.
Come sign in and wait for your name to be called. One food bag per household; you must be present and bags will be provided until supply runs out. Additional nonperishable canned foods, grooming and household products will also be available. Donations of garden vegetables and fruit are welcomed.
Clothing for men, women and children will be available to look through and take with you. Only men’s clothing donations are being accepted at this time. Bring paper or cloth bags.
Information and applications for the CalFresh debit program for seniors will be available. Assistance with filling out the CalFresh application is available at the Upper Lake Senior Support Services Office on the corner of First Street and Mendenhall in Upper Lake on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10 to 2 p.m. Their telephone number is 275-3513.
