Lakeport Christian Center will host, Daniel and Noreen McGaffee, veteran missionaries to Malawi, on Sunday, September 13 in their 10:30 a.m. service.
The McGaffees, along with their children began ministering in Africa January 1, 1995. Their early terms of ministry included Namibia and Kenya. They have just concluded their fourth term of ministry in Malawi.
Some Facts about Malawi. Malawi is in Southern Africa bordering Tanzania, Mozambique and Zambia. The population is about 16,800,000. It is nicknamed “The Warm Heart of Africa.” Malawi is among the most densely populated countries and least developed. About 85 percent of the people live in rural areas.
Their Focal Points of Ministry in Malawi include: Bible College training, teaching the Bible, Theology and courses on how to interpret the Scriptures in order to help the students be better equipped in proclaiming the Gospel of the Lord Jesus.
