LAKEPORT >> The Ladies of the Lake Quilt Guild present the 14th annual Falling Leaves Quilt Show in Lewis Hall at the Lake County Fairgrounds in Lakeport on October 3 and 4. The hours on Saturday are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The show includes 200 quilts in 30 categories, VIP award-winning quilts, the Country Store boutique, a vendor mall, quilting demonstrations, a silent auction, themed gift baskets, a door prize and an opportunity quilt.
Judy Sisnernos, the featured quilter, presents her quilts and talks with attendees about the quilts on display. Sisnernos says, “I have been enthusiastically sharing my techniques with students since early 1993. My approach is casual and fun; I encourage originality and creativity.”
Lunch by Angelina’s Bakery is adjacent to Lewis Hall.
Discount pre-sale tickets are available at Kerrie’s Quilting, 1853 N. High St. in Lakeport, Bird Brain Designs, 3925 Main St., Kelseyville and Shelly’s Quilted Treasures, 5300 2nd St. in Kelseyville now through October 2. Pre-sale tickets are $6 and at the door $8. Children 5-12 are $2.00, and under 5 are free.
