Lakeport >> Among the consent agenda items from the Tuesday, Sept. 8 meeting of the Lake County Board of Supervisors (BOS), the board passed a resolution to allow the temporary closing a large section of Main Street and branching roads in Kelseyville for the upcoming Pear Festival on Sept. 26.

Under the resolution, any vehicles parked and/or operating inside the boundaries of the road closure may be removed. The roads affected by the closure are Third and Fourth streets on the 25th, and Main Street, First Street through Seventh Street, Saderlund Street, Gunn Street, State Street, Live Oak Drive and Bell Hill Road. Signs will be posted in the affected areas by the Department of Public works or its designee.

The BOS also passed resolutions to sell real property owned by the county, with the public opening of bids commencing on Oct. 27. Of the three properties in question, one was deeded to the county in 2012. The other two were foreclosed on in 2013 and 2014, respectively.

The deed property is located at 5795 Grove St. in Lucerne, the property foreclosed on in 2013 is located at 6322 7th Ave. in Lucerne, and the property foreclosed on in 2014 is located at 6825 Floyd Way in Nice.
