LAKEPORT >> The Marlene Baker Memorial Bomber Bash scheduled for Saturday night at the Lakeport Speedway has been canceled because of the Valley Fire. Racing resumes at the Ukiah Speedway on Sept. 26.
During last weekend’s action at Ukiah, Bill Kistenmacher dominated in the Legends Cars division, setting the fast time (14.603 seconds) and winning both the heat race and main event. In the main event, he took the checkered flag in front of Jaden Fisher, Steven Sprague, Carlee Austin and Rob Alberigi.
Jr. Jammers
Elizabeth Ingalls scored a clean sweep of her own in the Jr. Jammers class. In addition to setting the fast time (16.393), she won both the heat race and main event in front of Steven Sprague.
Pro Jammers
Heat race winner Kody Hubert came back later in the evening to win the main event in front of Justin Moran, David Rogers, Danny Helm Sr. and Gene Odell Sr.
Moran set the fast time (15.862) and Odell Sr. was first in the trophy dash.
Taco Bell bombers
Jeff French beat Bradley Brackett to the finish line in the Taco Bell bombers main event. Bobby Gilbert came in third, Kimberley Sorrels was fourth, and Kevin Brackett took fifth.
Denny Cashada posted the night’s top qualifying time (14.890) and won the trophy dash and second heat race. Danny Helm Jr. won the first heat race.
Mini-stocks
Mike Peterson Jr. won the main event in the mini-stock division, taking the checkered flag in front of Roy Ingalls Jr., David Aceves, Roy Ingalls Sr. and Mike Peterson Sr.
Peterson Sr. set the fast time (15.367) and won the heat race.
Stahl Racing modifieds
Cameron Austin won the Stahl Racing modifieds main event, beating Darin Sullivan, Mike Collins, Dustin DeRosier and Sierra Furia to the finish line.
Sullivan had the fast time (13.346) while TJ Bussard won the trophy dash.
