- Main St. Kelseyville say the final Kickin’ in the Country Street Dance Thursday night, with a performance by the Funky Dozen. In light of the Valley fire, the evening served as a way to raise funds for fire victims. The band donated their fee, hot dogs were sold with proceeds going to the Mendo-Lake Credit Union and North Coast Opportunities Lake County Wildfire Relief Fund, tents with resources for victims were set up and the Funky Dozen gave the contents of their tip jar to Shelly Mascari, one of their lead singers who lost her home to the fire. - Photos by Jennifer Gruenke — Lake County Publishing
- When the Funky Dozen performed “Love Train” the crowd started one of their own. Most of the audience joined in as the snaking line danced around Main Street.
- Declan Naughton dances to the music. Naughton is an evacuee staying at the evacuation center at Kelseyville High School. He heard the music from down the street, which he said called to him like a siren.
- Rayleen McCauley dances with her son, 14-month-old Landon McCauley. The two are evacuees from Hidden Valley who are currently staying with family in Clearlake. They came out to the street dance because they needed a distraction and a few hours away from their concerns.
