Lakeport >> It’s all smiles for five lucky students in Lake County, thanks to the unrelenting efforts of the Clear Lake Road Riders Motorcycle Club, Inc.

For the fourth year running, this non-profit club has been collecting funds for the scholarship committee that seeks hard-working students with a grade point average of 2.0 or higher, and who plan on attending one of Lake County’s junior colleges.

This year’s college scholarship honorees are Ryan Brown from Upper Lake, Abigail McQueen from Kelseyville, Jose Gonzalez from Lower Lake (no picture available), Madison Wynacht from Lakeport and Taylor Woodruff from Lakeport. Each student will be granted a scholarship in the amount of $525.

Without the help of local businesses and private donors, these scholarships would not be possible. The members of the Motorcycle Club would like to thank all of the sponsors for helping these exceptional young adults to achieve more through higher education.

The Clear Lake Motorcycle Club, Inc. is a registered non-profit organization, and any donation you make qualifies as a tax write-off. Should you wish to make a donation, contact Lynn Hollenback at www.clearlakeroadriders.org or P.O. Box 1753, Lakeport, CA 95453.
