U.A. Local 38 Plumbers and Pipefitters Union announced plans to temporarily reopen a portion of the Konocti Harbor Resort in Kelseyville in an effort to accommodate displaced evacuees from the Valley Fire.

“Although we remain closed to the public as we continue our efforts to sell the resort, we felt a desire and obligation to give back to Lake County and help those who so desperately need assistance during this terrible tragedy,” said Local 38 business manager Larry Mazzola.

The temporary effort will last through the initial phase of relocation. For more information or to register for temporary housing at Konocti Harbor, contact the Lake County Valley Fire hotline at 707-262-1090
