Could one of your kind staff put “Letters to the Editor” in Very Large block letters?
Apparently several of your readers refuse to wear their reading glasses, and only see “Lectures to the Idiots,” when they write in.

That 13-year-old was not playing with a toy gun. He purposely removed the item of proof that it was a toy gun and deliberately pointed it at police officers. You readers decide his motivation.
In Hawaii, many balconies on hotels have signs saying only six people are allowed on balcony. Why were 13 on that balcony collapse? Over a ton of weight on a small balcony.
Why was I not surprised that a baseball fan got hit in the face by a foul ball? As cameras view fans, I swear one third of them have their eyes focused on cell phones. Obviously they are not watching the game to sight foul balls heading toward them.
Numerous ads on television today display violent actions by humans. And automobile commercials show people driving like maniacs.
Soap operas used to be all about love and romance 50 years ago. Today there are numerous acts of violence and murder. The majority of nightly television shows are violent in nature. Youngsters across our country are viewing all of the above. Thus we wonder why so many youngsters decide to copy what they view on TV.
Why should football players sue the NFL? They voluntarily joined the most violent team sport on the planet. No one forced them to join. I feel bad about their injuries, but injuries will never stop in football.
