Lakeport >> The Mendo-Lake Singers extend an invitation to women 18 or older, to join them this holiday season. Learn to sing Christmas carols in four-part harmony Tuesdays at 7 p.m. at the Four Square Church in Lakeport.
Singers do not have to know how to read music to learn the songs, as several of the songs have learning CDs to go with the sheet music. There is no cost for the holiday season to learn to sing Christmas favorites. The group holds a Christmas program for friends and family the week before Christmas.
The Mendo-Lake Singers are part of Sweet Adelines International, a world wide organization with choruses throughout the United States and the globe. All choruses sing music a cappella, in four-part barbershop harmony style.
The Four Square Church is located at 1125 Martin St. in Lakeport.
