Middletown High School running back Ty Chorjel rushed for 75 yards and two touchdowns as the Mustangs scored a huge road win at Maize Field on Friday night, routing the previously undefeated Wolverines 43-8 in a North Central League I varsity football game that Middletown dominated from the opening kickoff. The Mustangs (2-2) host another undefeated team, the Fort Bragg Timberwolves (5-0), this Friday night at Bill Foltmer Field, the team’s first home game since the devastating Valley Fire left many of the school’s players and coaches homeless. Both squads enter play 2-0 in the league standings.
