Lakeport >> The Lakeport Women’s Civic Club (LWCC) is preparing for its annual Craft Fair and Bake Sale that will be held at the Kelseyville Presbyterian Church on Nov. 14 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

There are 23 vendors ready with their handmade creations ranging from beading, jewelry, leather works, cards, crochet, gourds, lavender crafts and many more one-of-a-kind items for holiday gift giving.

In addition to the craft items the kitchen will be open with homemade chili, soup, muffins and various baked goods for sale. This event is one of the major fundraisers for the club for the year.

There are still 10-11 tables available for craft vendors who wish to sell their handmade items. There is a $20 contribution for the use of a table. If interested in renting at table, call Kathy Knickmeyer at 262-0601.

The LWCC is a nonprofit group of volunteers that work on various projects throughout the year in order to support the Lake County community. Since the beginning of September the group has donated $500 to the veteran’s honor guard and $10,000 to the Lake County Fire Relief Fund. In addition to monetary donations to various projects around the county, the women donate non-perishable food to the local food bank each month at their regularly scheduled luncheon and business meeting that takes place the first Friday of the month at the Riviera Country Club Restaurant.

For information about the LWCC call Cheryl Robbins at 263-3445.

The Kelseyville Presbyterian Church is located at 5340 Third St.
