KELSEYVILLE >> The passing and setting of Payton Conrad and Riley Goff helped carry the undefeated Kelseyville Knights to a 25-12, 25-10, 25-18 North Central League I varsity volleyball win over the Fort Bragg Timberwolves on Tuesday night in Kelseyville.
“She’s passing really well,” Kelseyville coach Donelle McCallister said of the freshman Conrad.
Goff, the team’s veteran setter, led the way with 22 assists.
Solid passing and setting helped the Knights up front, according to McCallister. Carli Mendonca led the way with 10 kills while Heidy Cano and Shalyn Keithly added eight kills apiece.
Kaylie Williams also had four aces as the Knights improved to 5-0 in the league standings.
“We played a good game all the way through,” McCallister said of the Knights, who return to action Thursday in Middletown.
In the junior varsity match earlier in the evening, Fort Bragg beat Kelseyville 25-17, 25-15.
Leading the Knights were Emma Larsen with three digs and two aces, Kaleigh Nunn with three digs and two assists, and Tristan Beck with two digs, two aces and two kills.
