Lakeport >> Skin Fitness will host its fifth annual fundraiser called “Kiss Cancer Goodbye.”
Proceeds for the month-long kissing contest will go toward “Faith’s Fund” and the local breast cancer group run by Lin Pifer. Founded by Faith Hornby in 2009, Faith’s Fund provides free, wigs and accessories for anyone going through treatments.
For $1, participants can pick a lipstick color and print their lips on a board supplied by Skin Fitness for either men, women or children. The winner will be announced by a panel of judges, which in past years has included the mayor of Lakeport and city council members, and will receive a gift certificate from Skin Fitness.
