Sam Long caught two passes for 26 yards, including a 10-yard touchdown in the second quarter, to help the Clear Lake Cardinals snap a 13-game North Central League I losing streak with a 32-20 homecoming victory over the Willits Wolverines on Friday night at Don Owens Stadium in Lakeport. Clear Lake hosts Lower Lake in an all-Lake County tussle this Friday. Junior varsity kickoff is 5:30 p.m. with the varsity game to follow.
