
Middletown >> The September Middletown Luncheon Club has been rescheduled to take place on Oct. 21 at noon at the Middletown Senior Center.
Voris Brumfield’s will give a presentation on the relevance of our Lake County history.
Lake County became one of the 58 California Counties in 1861 when parts were taken from Mendocino and Napa counties to form it. More 20,000 years of history will be presented at the Middletown Luncheon Club by Brumfield, Lake County Historical Society president. Brumfield will recount some of her experiences from 40 years of living in Lake County and she’ll speak about the development of the Gibson Museum & Cultural Center.
Lunch will be served by the sixth-grade science camp at noon at the Middletown Senior Center, 21256 Washington St. The program will end promptly at 1 p.m. For $5 per person, guests will be served beef with broccoli, brown rice and pineapple fluff salad.
