Clearlake >> The Queen of Peace Women’s Guild in Clearlake have set the date for their postponed International Dinner to Sunday, Oct. 18 from 4 to 6 p.m. If you have purchased tickets, they can be used this day.
Five different foods will be served in the beautiful church community center, located in back of the church at 14435 Uhl Ave.
Friar Bernard will be making food from India, and it will be spicy. The Mexican Ladies will be making homemade tortillas and providing different meats for you to choose, along with rice and beans and their favorite rice water drink. Italian foods always include Lasagna and one of the ladies will make homemade garlic bread. The Filipino Ladies always surprise us with their food, which includes their tasty Lumpia. The American group will have an All American Apple Pie dessert with vanilla ice cream. All these foods will be accompanied by salad, coffee and water.
Tickets are $12 for adults, $6 for children under 10 and may be purchased at the door, and will be sold after every mass: Saturday at 6 p.m. and Sunday at 8 and 10 a.m.
