Soroptimist International of Clear Lake will host Pastor Jim McKee, CEO of the “Hope Crisis Response Network“ a faith based non-profit organization that helps rebuild communities after disasters. This organization has assisted hundreds of communities and over 20,000 families with the resources needed for recovery.
Hope Crisis Response Network is opening “Hope City” in Middletown to support the Valley Fire recovery efforts. Their charge is to coordinate and deploy volunteers, serve as advocates, assist communities in developing successful recovery plans and rebuilding or repairing homes with quality workmanship, at no cost to the community.
There are some seats available for this lunch event. The event is on Thursday, October 22 at noon, Howards Grotto, 14732 Lakeshore Drive in Clearlake. Lunch is $12 per person.
