The Safeway Foundation, represented by store managers from Napa, Lakeport and St. Helena, presented a $100,000 check to Jeff Baumgartner, Executive Director of the California Northwest Chapter of the American Red Cross in support of area fire relief efforts. Local Safeway stores raised funds at cash registers and matched customer giving.
