Lake County Amateur Radio Society invites all to their Operations Day on Saturday, Nov. 14 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Grace Free Church on 6716 Live Oak Dr, Kelseyville.
The group’s mission is to generate interest and provide support to everyone from the beginner to the more advanced amateur operators.
Operators will be available to answer questions about programming, radio etiquette, repeaters and general information about ham radio, and how to get a license.
Learn about ham radio as a hobby to have fun and a form of emergency communications that can be used when a real disaster is upon us.
