Led by the likes of senior forward Elias Alvarez (14), the Kelseyville Knights put in a little extra work on Saturday night during their 3-2 double-overtime loss to Fortuna in the quarterfinal round of the North Coast Section Division I boys’ soccer playoffs at Kelseyville. The game was knotted 2-2 after regulation play and the winning goal wasn’t scored until late in the second overtime, preventing a shoot-out. Kelseyville claimed its second straight North Central League I championship this season and finished 12-2-2 overall. Also pictured is junior Samuel Guzman.
