Upper Lake >> The Upper Lake Community Food Project will take place Tuesday at 4 p.m. on the porch of the Odd Fellow’s Hall, Main Street downtown Upper Lake.
Sign in and wait for your name to be called. One food bag per household only, a person must be present and bags will be provided until supply runs out. Additional nonperishable canned foods,grooming and household products will also be available.
Donations of garden vegetables and fruit are welcomed. Clothing for men, women and children will be available to look through and take. Donations of men’s clothing only for the coming winter weather at this time are accepted. Bring paper or cloth bags. Volunteers will provide hand-out material and provide applications for the CalFresh debit program for seniors. They are able to help people fill out the CalFresh application at the Upper Lake Senior Support Services office on the corner of First Street and Mendenhall in Upper Lake on Tuesdays and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Telephone number for Senior Support Services is 275-3513.
