Lakeport >> A presentation on the benefits of installing solar panels will be hosted by 11 year solar industry veteran and Sunpower Energy Professional Robin Harp at the Lakeport Yacht Club on Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. Guests will receive information about PG&E ending the Solar Net-Metering program, otherwise known as “spinning the meter backwards,” which pays for the cost of a solar system; also the upcoming end to the Federal 30-percent tax credit.
Sunpower is a U.S. -based company that makes the highest performance solar panels in the world. Recent Sunpower homeowners will share their experience.
