When Middletown running back John Kelley cut back inside in the first quarter Friday night against the Willits Wolverines, Justin Thom of Willits couldn’t make the same adjustment as he was preparing to tackle Kelley, who went on to score a touchdown in the Mustangs’ 47-0 first-round playoff victory at Bill Foltmer Field. Kelley scored touchdowns on his first three carries against the Wolverines, all in the opening quarter.
