Lucerne >> On Dec. 3, Marymount California University, Lakeside Campus, will host an informative forum on the summer’s fires, restoration and recovery efforts, and preparations for expected El Niño rains this winter.

Participants will include Cal Fire Division Chief Jim Wright, the University of California Cooperative Extension’s Forest and Wildlands Ecology Advisor for Mendocino and Lake County, Greg Giusti, and Korinn Woodard of the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service in Lake County.

The forum begins at 6:30 p.m. and will run approximately one and a quarter hours. The Marymount campus is located at 3700 Country Club Drive in Lucerne.
