Kelseyville >> Lake Family Resource Center (LFRC) has scheduled the “Because We Have Daughters” workshop Dec. 5.
Register is open for the workshop. The program provides an opportunity for fathers to share time with their daughters and by sharing laughter, games and informational activities, followed with snacks and discussions about any insights gained from the activities.
The goal of the workshop is to help fathers/father figures/uncles understand what it takes for the girls in their lives, to live fully and freely without fear of violence.
The workshop will be from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at LFRC; 896 Lakeport Blvd. in Lakeport. Call 279-0563 to reserve a space. Recommended age for girls is 10-18 years old.
LFRC provides a multitude of services to build family stability and strength. The agency supports Lake County residents in achieving stable, self-sufficient and healthy families and communities.
