Kelseyville’s annual Christmas in the Country Merchant Open House & Parade of Lights is on Friday, Dec. 4.
The fun will take place on Main Street from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Included in the festivities will be Christmas Tree Lighting in front of the Kelseyville Fire House, Parade of Lights, and pictures with Santa at Westamerica Bank. All visitors can stop in at the local businesses on Main Street and enjoy lots of holiday cheer, and holiday music will be played throughout the evening.
Also, There is still time to sign up to participate in the light parade. Entries for the parade are due by Friday, Nov. 28. Parade line up will begin at 5 p.m. on Gard Street. The parade will begin at 6:30. Parade participants are requested to decore their floats with lots of lights. Distributing business cards, flyers or other items that can be discarded on Main Street is prohibited. Likewise, throwing candy will not be allowed, as it creates a safety issue with children running out into the street.
